Rainbow Reef is by Miami, located at 25°41'31.1"N 80°05'50.0"W, around 3 nautical miles from Crandon Beach in Key Biscayne. 

The reef depth ranges from 17 to 28 ft (5 to 8 m), it is great for beginner open water scuba divers, but also allows snorkeling on low tide

It has 6 mooring boys, the southern buoys are shallower and provide good snorkeling locations.
